From Melbourne Kitchens to Singapore Hawker Stalls
Founded by Amber Pong, an ex-Melbourne pastry chef who trained in a French patisserie, The Headless Baker started as a family-run hawker stall at Ghim Moh Market. The mission was simple: make quality, artisan bakes accessible to everyone, with sugar levels thoughtfully adjusted for the elderly regulars in the neighbourhood.
What began as a humble stall has grown into two locations. The original Ghim Moh hawker bakery serves beloved tea cakes and scones from $2, while The Headless Baker & Sons at The Star Vista pairs French viennoiseries with specialty coffee from Tiong Hoe.
